Raising awareness of male grief, running annually throughout June. It’s never unmanly to talk.

New research commissioned by StrongMen has found that 47% of men don’t share their real emotions due to a lack of confidence and 1 in 4 men bottle up their feelings, suffering from the age old gender stereotype, due to it being unmanly to share them.

The research also found 45% of men find it embarrassing to talk to friends and family and a third citing grief as something they would most struggle to talk about.

In response to the research we are running a social media campaign running throughout June each year called ‘Bare Yourself’, calling on all men to ‘bare themselves’ to raise awareness of how important it is to share, talk and connect with your friends and family.
